Braga is one of the oldest portuguese cities and one of the oldest Christian cities in the world; founded in roman times as Bracara Augusta, has more than 2000 years of history as a city. A few miles of the city stands the religious tourist resort of Bom Jesus do Monte, also known as Bom Jesus de Braga. Here, nature and art combine to delight its visitors.

Follow to Guimarães, a city historically associated with the foundation of the portuguese nationality.
