The demarcated Douro Region, where is produce the so famous Porto and Douro wine, covers an area comprised by several municipalities, including the municipality of Lamego. Noble city with manor houses, churches and chapels of singular value and an imposing Castle, where the architecture of the monuments and the secular streets tell stories worthy of a struggling people.
