The Douro Tour takes you to historical places, rich in local traditions and heritage, framed by breathtaking scenery.

Classified by UNESCO as a world heritage site in 2001, the upper Douro wine region is the oldest demarcated region of the world, worthy of a beauty which combines the work of man to cultural values, creating a incomparable landscape and recognized internationally. The demarcated Douro Region, where is produce the so famous Porto and Douro wine,  covers an area comprised by several municipalities, including the municipality of Lamego. Noble city with manor houses, churches and chapels of singular value and an imposing Castle, where the architecture of the monuments and the secular streets tell stories worthy of a struggling people.

We leave for Peso da Régua. It is in this city that we find the buildings of institutions that were instrumental in the development of the municipality and the region. Example, the building of the General Company of Agriculture of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, current seat of the Douro Museum. Follow to the Pinhão. Situated in the heart of the Demarcated Region of Douro, is a village with beautiful landscapes and its economic bases is the wine production. Here are situated some of the most important Douro wine estates.
